Walt Disney's childhood was a series of days when his father often disciplined him with a whip. Walt and his brother had to endure many beatings from their father every time they did something wrong.
According to his father, the painful whippings were to help his two children become better men, but he did not expect that this action would deeply haunt Walt. The beatings happened so continuously that it became a daily habit for the two brothers.
To escape his father's brutality, Walt began to paint. Colorful pens quickly became the young boy's favorite items. Under Walt's pen, life is no longer cruel and dark but filled with love and happiness - this is where Walt dreamed of living.
Walt's daily activities revolved around boxes of crayons until the outbreak of World War I. Walt was 16 years old at the time, joined the Red Cross and was sent to France to fight. The process of working in the military, many times standing between the boundary of life and death, made him love and appreciate life more. Walt still dreams of creating a happy world, but all he can do is draw.
After the war, Walt moved to Kansas City, Missouri and worked at the advertising animation production company Film Ad Co. The process of working here gave Walt many valuable lessons. The young man felt fascinated by colorful animated characters that could move. From this moment, Walt wanted to create his own characters.
The first step was to turn his private garage into a studio for Walt to unleash his creativity. From the original borrowed equipment, Walt created short animated films. The first product brings with it the pride and happiness of the young manufacturer.
However, it was almost impossible for Walt to convince theater owners to show his films. In the midst of the film market with countless elaborately invested products at that time, Walt quickly failed greatly. As a result of the constant losses, Walt had to sell the apartment, live in the office and sleep on a cold bench. At that time, he had to do everything to survive.
Homeless life lasted until 1923, when Walt went to Los Angeles to restart his career. Thanks to his talent and help from his brother, Walt began to gain a foothold in the profession and had capital. During this time, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a cartoon character born under Walt's hands, became known and loved by many people.
The mistake began when Walt allowed the character to be copyrighted under the company's name, which caused him to lose control over the character and much of the effort Walt spent on building the image of the beloved rabbit suddenly disappeared.
No longer continuing to work with the rabbit Oswald, Walt came up with the idea of creating another character based on the image of the mouse that lived with him in his office in Kansas City. "A certain mouse helped me clean up leftover food while I was asleep. Our relationship was more than great friends, giving me the motivation to open a film production company named after myself," Walt said.
From here, Mickey Mouse, a friend of millions of children around the world, was born. To further perfect his character, Walt hired a team of professional artists and rendering engineers, using the most advanced technology to create realistic movements and sounds for the character.
Walt's creativity created a phenomenon in the animation industry at that time, bringing huge profits. Thanks to his remarkable successes, Walt planned to make larger projects such as long films with consistent sound, color, and interactive characters.
This time, Walt's new idea was considered risky, because making a long-running animated film requires a large budget. However, in 1937, Walt proved this to be reasonable and feasible when he released the first full-length animated film titled "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" after 3 years of production. The film is loved by many audiences, adults and children, helping Walt reap many great awards.
In 1955, Disneyland park was born, quickly becoming a tourist attraction. Dubbed the happiest land in the world, Disneyland is the embodiment of what Walt had dreamed of in the past. Disneyland became a child's dream, bringing Walt more valuable things than millions in revenue.
Not satisfied with what he had, Walt wanted to expand this wonderful world for all children to enjoy, so he bought more land near Orlando to build Walt Disney World. The project is the entire enthusiasm of the talented film producer. Unfortunately, Walt still did not see Walt Disney World completed when he passed away at the age of 65 from lung cancer.
During his entire life, Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse were considered deeply influential symbols of American culture. Currently, every movie produced in the Disney studio comes with the founder's signature and is welcomed and loved by millions of people around the world.

Therefore, even though he used all his assets, Walt still had to mortgage his insurance, stocks and house... to buy an orange grove near Anaheim, California, to build a park of nearly 800,000 square meters.
